All of us at Science in the Park and the office of Alameda County District 2 Supervisor Richard Valle hope that you and your families are safe and well during these worrying times.

This is an event rooted in science, heath and families and we are committed to safe and educated communities.

We have taken the difficult decision to postpone Science in the Park until scientists and doctors tell us it is safe to do so.

Until then, please keep yourselves and our communities safe by:

  • Frequently washing hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds and use an alcohol-based hand rub with at least 60% alcohol.

  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose, or mouth with unwashed hands.

  • Follow State and County stay in place recommendations.

  • Wear a mask or face covering if you MUST be in public.

  • Avoid close contact with people who are sick.

  • Stay home if sick.

Check back soon for amazing science activities you can safely do at home with your families!
